Stadium Change

Postby cshannajr » Sat Feb 06, 2010 3:06 pm

I will throw my two cents in early. Although I am not a big fan of how my stadium turned out this year, I think we should keep the stadiums we chose from the beginning. I know it's only SOM and not the real thing, but do MLB teams get to tear down their stadiums every year and build one to suit their team?

It does state in the rules, however, that you can trade stadiums with another owner. Plus, you may trade players that don't fit for those who do.

Re: Replacement Owner Needed

[quote:e334a079d9="Ninersphan"][quote:e334a079d9="Aray0113"]I would be interested in taking over this team, if you would have me.

I'm currently in one other keeper league, and have been looking for another one to participate in.

Question: what park is this team playing in, and am I required to keep that park, or would I be permitted to change parks? The answer wouldn't change my mind about taking over the team; I'd just like to know in advance, if you don't mind.

Thank you for your consideration![/quote:e334a079d9]

Thanks for answering.

If we get more reponse's I'll hold a lottery using pick 3 numbers to see who gets the team.

The ballpark is currently LA Angels home park, and according to the rules currently you would ahve to keep it, but another owner has expressed interets in changing parks , so that rule could be changing...[/quote:e334a079d9]

That makes 2 (or 3  )

I'll need you guys to leave a state with a pick 3 for a lottery to determine who gets the team.

Thanks.

Nobody has any more claim on the team than anyone else, I just didn't want to leave it to first come first served and would rather all interested parties get a fair shot...

and the lottery is th fairest way I know.

We'll use Sunday night's numbers and I'll declare a winner on Monday morning, [b:f84f143909]low[/b:f84f143909] number gets the team

What are the Cleveland dimensions this year? I too, built a team for lefties (PNC), but I have plenty of RH'd power this year to think about switching. Going to be wierd at present platooning A. Hill, E. Longoria, and D. Lee.

Lefty numbers first, so Cleveland is balanced and NOT a HR's hitters park,

What'd they move the fences out at the Jake??? Back in the day when Manny, Thome, Dean Palmer, Albert Belle, and Carlos Baerga were jackin' balls out of there left and right, it used to be like Coors East, Times change...
