[quote:34c945e475="jimmullins70"]Are we good with the deal or do I need to confirm it again? I guess it pays off to do it right the first time. Sorry for all the confusion.[/quote:34c945e475]
the deal is all good.
Here's what happened, when I first saw and started changing my sheets, I didn't see "prospect" listed in the tradein relation to Bailey, and as fate would have it, Dan also owns HOMER Bailey as well (at least he did prior to the trade). Well once I saw Homer, and no mention of "prospect" in the trade post, I thought there was a mistake and that jim had accepted a trade for the wrong guy. I even started typing out a post in the thread to that effect. Then I went and checked to see if Andrew was even owned, and lo and behold, I found him as a [i:34c945e475]prospect[/i:34c945e475] on Dan's team afterall. So other than dan now owing a drop, the deal as it was intended, was all good.
Now, once I annouced dan owed a drop, he posted Giambi, because on the positional sheet I had last sent out, I forgot to drop him even though he is listed as a drop on the trade page as of the 22nd of December.
So dan thought he could still drop him. Now that, that is cleared up and he's dropped Taylor Bucholtz instead, the whole deal is all finalized.
HOPEFULLY this will illustrate why I want as much detail as possible when you post trades, and why it is extremely important to check over the roster sheets when I send them out, after all 12 sets of eyes are better than 1.
WHEW...
Can we all relax and enjoy the Superbowl now???
