Rutkap,

You can fill in all the guys you have drafted and can play around with the rest of your roster. Just don't fill in all 25 players.

just a thought

It doesn't seem like everyone reads all the posts here, and we can't be sure everyone will fill out their cards with the "live drafted" picks first. If someone puts their autodraft picks first, they will have an advantage. If we all list our auto draft picks first, we are on equal footing.

If someone doesn't read the postings, and puts their auto draft picks last, they will be at a disadvantage that they created themselves, which is better than a self-created advantage.

Terp has picked. Had the early shift today and just got out. Hopefully didn't hold things up too much.

To me, it makes more sense to put your drafted players at the bottom - that way, it's just like the real auto draft, where everyone puts their first choices (of what's left) at the top and so forth.

If I'm off on this, someone please explain why we would put our drafted players as our top 13. I just don't see why?.....

Knowing how HAL works, I am afraid that if we put our 13 players on the bottom and two or three managers pick Lezcano first, just using him as an example since he is currently available, HAL may default to the next available right fielder who may be Ken Singleton who was picked by Rooks but is not on his list until much later. That is a scenario I'd like to avoid.

Does that make sense?

that actually makes sense. In order to try and avoid that situation I think we should put our players first that we drafted. If everyone does that then we will all be in the same.

I may need to be corrected on this but It is my understanding that if a person is picked by only one player he gets him and is not subjected to HAL picking him for another team.

HAL wouldn't award Singleton to a team who missed out on Lezcano if Singleton was on a draft card. He would only assign the next player in line that was not on any draft card. That's why we all get high priced bums for the stars we missed out on. They were the ones that nobody put on their draft cards.

Either way, I'm cool - It's up to you, Mike.
