[quote:6b647f520a="Artie412"]Well, dharma, the Live Draft ain't Kansas, that's for sure.
My advice: Go to the browseable player section and download the Excel spreadsheet with the players. Sort the position column, and break the hitters worksheet up into each position. Break the pitchers worksheet into Starters, Pure Relievers, and Closers.
Now, prioritize according to that which you find most important. Maybe you want the winningest pitcher (hint: usually a bad idea, in and of itself); maybe you want the one with the best ERA or WHIP. Sort the data that way.
In hitters, at each position, do the same. Maybe slugging pct means more to you than BA; or stealing ability, or pure power. Sort that way.
Once you diddle enough with the excel file, get some colored hi-lighters or pens, and mark off in priority order those at each position that you covet. [b:6b647f520a]Make this list DEEP! The top 15 at each position that you would love to have.[/b:6b647f520a] You will be shocked how fast some positions go.
IF you don't have or use Excel make your list any way you choose and [b:6b647f520a]CROSS OFF as you go[/b:6b647f520a]. This way, you will have a priority list of which players are still available, at which positions.
Only YOU can decide which choices your first four or five picks will be. Pitcher heavy? Power heavy? OPS heavy?
THAT is where personal preference comes in.
See you Saturday night!
