Is it me or is there more adware than normal throughout the Strat Site? Personally my computer is NOT performing well while on the Strat site. I think they tried this before and had to take it away.

Why is it back?

I just noticed the Gillette ads today for the first time. They did not affect the speed that the pages loaded for me however. As long as they don't slow things down (or crash anything) I'm fine with it especially if it means that they won't raise the price to play this game.

Firefox + AdBlock Plus = Me seeing no ads

The problem I have had the past few days is a large ad at the top of the page and nothing else. To get back to my teams I have to go back to the main Sporting News page and navigate to my teams. that does not always work. What is going on?

I clicked on the link to view a team and got a screen with an ad and nothing else. This is difficult. Whyis this happening. I don't have time to try to figure out how to see my teams and leagues.

They are ads for Encore hotel casino in Vegas.

The new ads are definitely interfering with my scrolling thru the site, etc.

I didn't even notice it until I read the forums. I don't mind it. My computer was getting slow and we defragmented it and everything went faster. I am by all means computer thumbs :shock: but the little woman did it for me. She is soooooooooo wonderful and very hot and incredibly sexy. Note to readers. Notice the date of posting. Oh yeah and I had her proof read this for me. Got to go now as she needs my help with something in the bedroom :wink: .

I tried the adblock plus plugin for firefox, and it has worked great. Thanks for the note about it. I was getting pretty frustrated with the slowness of the pages.
