I will pick shortly. :D

I think 10am is a better daily start time, given time zone considerations.

Also, we're still waiting to hear from Bernie. I emailed him yesterday, and I'm sure he'll check in one way or the other today. Hopefully, a board draft will convince him that we really need penngray's application. Then he can lobby to the powers that be.

[b:b42f272225]A few other comments regarding board drafts[/b:b42f272225]

1. Please manage your money carefully! We all know that Penn's site does this for us, but we don't have that luxury here. The general rule is that drops are [b:b42f272225]not allowed[/b:b42f272225] as a result of poor cash management.

2. Make sure that everyone you live draft goes on your draft card. This has always been the rule in any draft, but it's worth a reminder here, especially in light of point #1.

3. I am available every day for proxies, but only until 7pm EST. That's when the Internet gets turned off in England.

4. Have fun, and try to avoid mindlessly badgering one another. Some of my worst SOM experiences have been during live drafts on the boards. Fortunately, I don't see any of the primary culprits on our list.

Good luck everyone! BTW, I took ARod. :D

I downloaded the players list into an Excel file and am keeping a list of draft picks by manager (including $$ spent) and updating the list of available players as selections are made. If anyone ever wants this file, just send me a pm with the e-mail address you want it sent to.

I'm assuming we are drafting a stadium in this that will count as one of the 18 picks. If this is the case we will be autodrafting 8 players which means everyone will need at least 4M left after the live draft.

I see both Big and Hershey went big time.

yea, and to be honest i think i would have liked to trade that pick but, that being said, D LEE is going to lead the league in RBIs..if i can afford OB in front of him..

I think Lee is worth the money Hershey. I just wasn't sure I wanted to wrap up that much money in one player. I never have gone that route, although I know other players do have success doing that.

I'll be honest with you, I won't hesitate to take another $10m+ player in Round 2 if the right one is available. It's all about the value picks after that.
