What about setting up a Yahoo Group for our league? That way trade offers will go through each owners email. We probably all check our email more than we check our TSN inbox. I agree the TSN email system is terrible. It makes it a pain to go back and forth with a fellow owner when negotiating a deal.[/quote:218b716a33]

Cause I don't want another e-mail account or site to check, thank you very much, and I won't require it for anyone else in the league that doesn't want one either. :wink:

You all should have each others e-mail address because it gets sent out with the group mailings I send now.
I do not understand what the problem is with the PM system here on this site, it is more cumberson than IM'ing I'll admit, but I actually prefer it to e-mail maybe 'cause I'm here so darned much and need to post things on the thread anyway. In fact I check here MUCH more frequently than e-mail, so that assertion is incorrect, at least for me. Not only that, but with the Outbox and Sentbox I know when my messages have been received and I have a record of what I've sent to whom, which isn't alwys the case with e-mail.

I'm happy to give out my phone # to anyone if they prefer that form of communication, or, if they prefer not to spend the dime, they can always email me with their # and I'll call them. I personally don't mind the mail system here, as a cute little envelope pops up everytime I visit these boards. I actually check these boards more than I do my email.

Madigan makes a few good points. I know I've been on the receiving end of offers where the primary player was a RH'd, ballpark dependant player, that due to my park, is of little use. As he mentioned, a trade of value but of little practicality. There are times (including the present) that I kick myself for opting for PNC, as it severely limits my trading parameters. He's also correct that older players or "one year wonders" tend to be undervalued, which is why Scutaro remains on Bill's team, or D. Lee remains on mine. I'm sure by year's end we'll both be happy we couldn't move them.

I know I've fallen victim to the "he'll never trade him" mentality, both here and in fantasy leagues I've been in. In some instances, I've said to myself "is that all it took???", so it always helps to at least inquire about a player. On the other hand, while at times not feasible, it can be to one's benefit to announce he's on the market for best offer.

And no Bill, I am NOT hoarding :wink: :wink:

I know, I'm just messing with ya. After all, I believe you already have one of my players penciled into your lineup. The guy I am getting the cards from is order #7000 something, and his CD hasn't been shipped yet. Unreal, they've been at it a week now.

Cryptic is fun. Besides, it's just the first step in our quest to catch up to Schnoogens, who has been installed as the overwhelming preseason favorite by Las Vegas. With respect to eveyone else's team, it's this man's opinion he is by far the team to beat if the season opened today, the rest of us are just playing for his enjoyment. His team looks incredible!!!

Hmmmm, but looking a schnoogens team, gonna depend on whether that stellar SP and defense can indeed keep runs from scoring, cause I'm not in love with his offense, need 1 or 2 pwoer guys to push him over the top IMHO, but he's darn close... He's also in a VERY tough division, with the other 3 teams arguably having more pop on offense, but a good team none the less...

Yeah they were set once the draft order was, it's bascially in inverse order, division plus stadiums.
