Where do you find the injury rating

Postby Ninersphan » Fri Feb 19, 2010 10:07 am

You look at an individual hitters card and see where his injury roll lies..

2 or 12 roll = 1
3 or 11 roll = 2
4 or 10 roll = 3
5 or 9 roll = 4
6 or 8 roll =5
7 roll = 6

Pithchers are different in that they are injured only when the DH is batting and a roll of 3 sixes comes up.

Number of games missed is based on a d20 roll on the injury chart as follows:

1 = no injury
2 = no injury
3 = Remainder of game
4 = Remainder of game
5 = REM + 1 game
6 = REM + 1
7 = REM + 1
8 = REM + 1
9 = REM + 2
10 = REM + 2
11 = REM +2
12 = REM + 3
13 = REM + 3
14 = REM + 4*
15 = REM + 5*
16 = REM + 6*
17 = REM + 7*
18 = REM + 8*
19 = REM + 10*
20 = REM + 15*

* Players with over 599 Strat plate appearences (defined as at bats + walks, not actual MLB plate appearences) can only be injured a max of 3 games.
Players over 680 pa's can not be hurt.

Niners,

Good explanation, but not *quite* complete. A player with >=680 BB+AB can get injured for the rest of the game, but will always start the next game (if desired of course)

mgf, what do you mean by a link? To what Niners posted?

Thanks for cleaning up my slop joe :D

and there is no "link" I simply posted the list after looking on my board game X-Charts- something I STILL wish Strat would allow TSN to publish on this site.

If you are refering to the advance ratings, the injury information is NOT on the downloadable spread sheet but is included in the ratings book.

No prob NP! :)

You can copy and paste the hitter info from the web page by paging through each page. Ugh.

Someone should ask Bernie to add to the downloadable spreadsheet.
