I agree Adams gets a card. Two main reasons:
1) Like Niners said, very hard to exclude a guy who pitched 1/2 an RP season. Any hitter who hits for half a season is automatically in.
2) The pitcher cards with nothing on them get hit MUCH harder than you'd expect in these leagues. Gagne's card a few years ago was a good example. It was a 7M card if I recall but with 50% of rolls on a hitter card, and usually a good hitter card, it was generally impossible for him to match his real-life WHIP & ERA.
My understanding of "skewing game results" is not when someone puts up a great season, but when that season obliterates a major statistical category. E.g., this year I think in a hitter park Avila would hit 60+ HRs. That is game-skewing for someone who played basically 10% of a full season in real life. As an R1 with no closer rating, Adams will not skew the game in that way.
