I like your team, good arms in LF and CF, decent speed tho a little light in OBP. Frank Thomas's card should have been illegal!! [color=darkblue:7e297b732b]{his card in your parkvs LHP: [b:7e297b732b]BA: [/b:7e297b732b]0.280 [b:7e297b732b]SLG%:[/b:7e297b732b] 1.067[b:7e297b732b] OBP:[/b:7e297b732b] 0.447 [b:7e297b732b]HR/40AB's[/b:7e297b732b] 6.72
vs RH not probably worth getting injured considering what he does to lefties: [b:7e297b732b]BA:[/b:7e297b732b]0.180 [b:7e297b732b]SLG:[/b:7e297b732b] 0.715 [b:7e297b732b]OBP:[/b:7e297b732b] 0.325 [b:7e297b732b]HR's per 40AB[/b:7e297b732b]: 4.89 ] [/color:7e297b732b] almost no double plays!

I am thinking you should use Pete Orr against righties, With luck and lots of games Frank is probably worth 14 million against lefties. You have really good starters and a closer. However, I think if your team struggles it will be because of a short bullpen.

In my experience the 200X games are more reliant than ATG is on relievers and your starting pitchers are only rated S7 so there is noone to pitch complete games to rest the bullpen. That I think will be your biggest issue

Frank's card is awesome . He'll hit a HR and then go on the DL for 15 , then come back crack a few more HR's and go on the DL . I looked closely @him and decided the 3+M could be spent somewhere else . If he stays healthy though what #'s he'll put up .

1st and C look to need a bit of help and maybe some more pen . Since its new at least everyone is on a level playing ground at this point .

Thanks Charlie! I agree about the bullpen. There isn't any SP rated better than 7. I'm just hoping that my guys are good enough to get 7 and occasionally 8 to cover the bullpen a little.

There wasn't much left for OBP to pick from. I dropped Konerko for Chipper to get a little. He's a huge injury risk also, but I love his card and I have alot of righties in my division.

Thomas may not last the season, but my God, I had to give him a tryout. Orr and Bruntlett will make a nice little cheap platoon for when Frank goes down. If he goes down alot, I have Everett to take over at DH and can use Franks money on another arm in the BP.

What's with Munich Man getting a proxy manager during vacation?

He won't be too happy with me on his return he left up 3-1 in the finals in a league and Staley and his bullpen blew a 3 run lead in game 5 and then he lost 6 & 7.

However PJ I will baby sit your teams any time you need them! :D :D

TKL the good thing in 200X leagues unless you are real lucky in the draft all teams have some weakness, overall your team looks real good and should do well. Report back with your results

Off to a nice start after the 1st trip through the division. Harang has been a pleasant surprise. I like the new Home/Road splits except that my guys are hitting below the Mendoza line on the road! So far #1 in pitching and #5 in offense.

I just took a look at my team and realized that I had 2005 on the brain! I had Armando Benitez set to close instead of Todd Jones. Oops! At least it worked out okay, Benitez is a perfect 7-7 in saves.

Looks like Frank Thomas has been good for you, but not Barry Bonds like.
