PHEW, Well I'm back. I'll make my picks in a bit(maybe and hour or so) But I need to catch up on e-mail leagUe chat etc. I'm still euphoric over the game last night. I've been to the Carrier Dome for many everts in my life, football games starring Donavan McNabb, basketabll games where John Thompson II, was run out of the place on a triple technical ('88), concerts, Springsteen in January of '85 when he played 50 minutes AFTER the house lights came on...

But I've NEVER, I MEAN NEVER seen the place that hyped, rowdy, stoked, pick your adjective. It was absolutley euphoric, and if we aren't number 1 overall after 1, 2 and 3 all lost this weekend someone ought to be arrested for robbery.

WHAT A GAME, WHAT A NIGHT, WHAT AN EXPIERIENCE!!!!!!

No big college hoops fans huh, oh well.

Anyway picks are in, I think I'm getting closer to my goal of getting the average age of this team trending downward with this draft, been a good one for me I think.

Other than my failure for the second year in a row to aquire a young 1b.
(Damn you C2 and that WAY earlier than expected 2nd round pick of Kyle Blanks :x  )

The game was good at best....very sloppy street ball type play. Exciting because of the fans but not a well coached or played game at all. The sleeper team this year is UTEP. Not kidding.

Bill, I was feeling the same way yesterday when the Huskers came from 13 down and ended up winning in double OT.

Ok, not really the same thing. :D Great crowd for the Orange.

Know the feeling well. Nice pick up of Joba, DT. If you want to move him, let me hear from 'ya.

Nice pickup of Homer Bailey, Qk-- I'd almost forgotten about him.

Thanks Cubester. Bailey was my next favorite option after Chacin for SP prospects. Also kudos to Hawk for picking up Flowers. If I was not forced to go RP in Rnd 7 I would have nabbed him there.
