Excel sheets for the 2009 cards

Excel sheets for the 2009 cards

Postby bigmahon » Wed Mar 03, 2010 4:36 pm

Just wondering if any of my old buds would be willing to email me a copy of the hitters and pitchers excel sheets for the new card set? I would be much obliged.

I'm at clmahon@hotmail.com

Cheers,

big

I believe that is clearly against the law as that would be pirating software.

Are you talking about the Excel download provided by TSN?

He might be talking about the free TSN download released with each new game. This obviously isn't out since the game hasn't been released.
If he's talking about the Strat ratings disk spreadsheets, then of course it's against the law and against the unwritten Strat community code of conduct.

Big:

I presume you know you can download the TSN sheets (with salaries) directly from the TSN site when the new game comes out.

If you're worried about overseas shipping of the SOM ratings disk (and/or cybercriminal conspiracy  ), perhaps you don't know that you can now order the ratings "disk" online from stratomatic.com and download the SOM sheets instantly to your computer...no more floppies.

I ordered the 2009 ratings disk on Sunday, 2/28, and the Strat-o-Matic site set up an account with a password for me. I assumed with the disk being a download that it would appear on my account at some point but when I log in, it is not there. My order just says 'payment received'. I emailed their customer service Tuesday morning via their 'help' feature, and I have not gotten a reply. I know there were some folks that pre-ordered that had problems. I figured it would be available by now. Any suggestions - hurry up and wait?

They should have sent you an e-mail with a link to the download. Try e-mailing or calling their customer service line.

I got the immediate email (ordered in the middle of the night), also could instantly access the link via my account. Just checked, it's still there, expires in April.

I ordered Sunday and my account still shows no downloads. I just sent an email from the help area (to tech support) and earlier I had sent a note via their web form - we'll see if I get a reply. Hopefully I ordered the right thing - 2009 ratings disk for $13.50. Their phone number says it will cost $1.99 per minute, so I haven't called - that would be odd, pay for them to fix my order.
