Inconsistent Player Choices

Personally, with those limited AB, I would've preferred to see Fuld & Maxwell excluded.

Agree. I don't really understand this "I want every card" mentality. I don't fault anyone for using a card that's available; I do appreciate that extreme cards usually get excluded.

I could see additional fringe cards being useful in a 24-team league.

I'd like ALL the cards as well as long as they are priced accordingly...

[quote:9c1ea6413a="scorehouse"]....... any similar pitcher's cards that can be thrown in?[/quote:9c1ea6413a]

On the ratings disks there are always a couple of hundred pitchers designated "X" for computer game use only. I assume this means they don't have a card for the board game. These have less than 30 IP. As we know, to this point, bernie has also excluded these and limited the online game to those with more than 30 IP. So if they have a card for the computer game, but not the board game which criteria will bernie use for inclusion. My guess is he'll stick with the 30 IP minimum. There are a few less than 30 IP guys that are useable but most are really bad, at least against one side or the other.

On the hitting side, no player with less than 40 AB's has ever been included in the online game. I have a feeling bernie will stick with this lower limit and the fluke cards will be limited to players like Ruiz, Avila, Ryal etc... But who knows. Maybe we'll see a 17M Luis Durango (11 AB's) card.
