Sorry, you can't. I would too. The rules state that the World Series Winner will pick the next cap, and that the first three keepers must be announced before the playoffs end.

We can certainly vote to change this, or to just keep the cap at 100 mil every season. Looking back it does seem kind of foolish to name keepers before we know the cap . . .

I have no problem if you want to change the rules, but I did draft my team with flexible salaried players in mind in case of a radical cap change. Others may have as well. I thought that that was a big part of the appeal to this keeper league as compared to some others.

I'm okay with the rules. If somebody wants to wipe me out with an $80, so be it. I'll get my revenge later... :twisted:

Quick question-- is the DH in effect every year? Or is that also subject to the winner's choice? I would prefer not to have it locked in every year for the lifetime of the league, but would be fine with having it as a year-to-year option.

The rules as outlined in number 1 state that the cap would be chosen. The DH is not listed as a choice but a constant. I prefer to keep the DH every year.

1. 100 mil cap for the first season. Winner of the league chooses the cap
for the next year (between 80 and 140 mil). DH is active, drop penalty will
be 5/10/20.
