Up until the past couple years a new TSN-xxxxx league would be automatically generated when the last TSN-xxxxx league filled. Maybe it's time to bring that feature back. A lot of managers will create a new league when needed but most won't.

Some things to keep in mind early-on when the new sets are rolled out:

- a lot of annual themes all jumpstart right away, so a lot of vets have money/credits already committed there

- the prior year's set (as well as '99 this year) are still playing out for a lot of people, so they may not want to load up right away with the new year until some of their current leagues wind down (again, compounded by the theme commitments too)

- the first week a lot of people rush to pull together 2, 3, 4 or more new teams in the excitement, so some newer start-ups take a couple more weeks to begin

Anyway, that's always my take on the start of a new set rolling out...

autoleagues became extinct when all the new options for creating a league were introduced. I suspect they will never come back since that would require we all agree on what standard autoleague options should be. I would think the best solution to there not being any leagues to join is create a new league with what you think are the best options.

Autoleagues still exist in the mystery card format (80 mil, DH). Technically, that would be considered the standard as that's the current format.
1 80 mil and 1 100 mil autoleague for ATG and 200X might work though.

They also exist in the 2001-2006 seasons games.

Yeah...I like to just check out the leagues that are forming, find one with only a few slots left (regardless of format), and then create a team around whatever parameters the league has.

Before you know it, draft runs and you're ready to rock!
