The online site for our 2001 draft will be determined soon.

Gregg at somdraft.com tells me that the diamonddope.com "draft site is far superior."

Likewise, for a small fee, I can setup an account at stratdraft.com, which also looks pretty good.

The somdraft.com site is the only one I've ever used. Does anybody in the league have experience at either of the other sites? Or a preference?

I am with you... lets get it rolling... I am ok with using www.somdraft site and just using whatever cards and if someone is not carded in that set they person can pick a cheap guy and post on this site who he really is taking.

Just my thoughts.

The concern with using the SOM site would be tracking money. 2001 is a 80 mil league. We would have to be tracking our own money.
I have not used the other sites mentioned for a draft, so I can't help there...

We're all spreadsheet jockeys aren't we? I'd be happy to track the money for all teams and update it each round. We could just do it in a thread.

What exactly is a proxy ? (I'm from Québec (french...)). Is it a notification by e-mail ?

OK, the stratdraft site can setup 2001 for us, but only with the listing of players from the CD-ROM...

And the guy at the diamonddope site has not answered my emails...

So I asked Gregg at the somdraft site to dust off a 2001 database and set it up for us.

I'll let you know when it's ready!
