Seems like not a lot of posts on 99 teams here. For those who like to do research on actual performance, I present this:

Bragging Rights League

It's a 24 team, 99 league (2 divs AL only, 2 divs NL only). I think some of the elite hitters stats might be inflated due to the thin pitching (same could probably be said of the elite pitchers, I suppose).

Really good Olympic team. Chipper wins MVP, great seasons out of Glanville, Lieber, Lowe, Johnstone, Pokey. Of course, it got knocked out in the 1st round of the playoffs:

Here's a Tiger Stadium team. Barely scraped it's way into the playoffs. Dismal performances by Koch, Ritchie, Bell, Irod, but, go figure, it won it all:
