Al's got two rounds of proxies for me. I will not be able to be much in front of the computer tomorrow.

Had lunch today w/ The Turtle in Austin. It was a pleasure, mostly talking baseball (but also the perils of journalism, the corrosive force of PR, and "Spartacus"). Now in S.F. and so ready for bed I can't begin to tell you.

Call me if my second proxy round doesn't hold.

Based on 3 hours per pick and 25 picks before mine (75 hours) with Riggo being skipped, I should be up by Friday or Saturday :D depending on sppeed of picks. It gives me plenty of time to ponder my 3rd pick. SGT D

I'm going to be offline for more than three hours. I'll be back this afternoon.

I have sent my round three proxy to Schnoogens, who is behind me in the draft.

I have sent Tom's round three proxy to Mark (kramed), who is behind Tom.

I do have proxies in my Inbox from cabobob and exwallman. I am not going to look at them until my round three pick is made. If the draft gets around to cabobob before I am back online, well, that would be a good problem to have, since it would mean we made good progress. Please be patient in that case.

For the record, it's been four and a half days and we aren't halfway done yet. I guess I figured after the first round we would have a lot more proxy sending than we've actually seen.

Do feel free to PM proxies to me now. If you are behind me in the draft, I won't look at them until my third round pick is made.

No need to put together elaborate backup plans in case your top choice is taken (although if you want to, that's fine, too). Just think about who (or which stadium) you would most want out of what is available now and send it along.
