i read this to mean he is trying to trade his drafting of the C position in this round for someone else's pick in another round. therefore having two picks in one round at another position without picking a catcher or he will not select a catcher at all and this round will only be 11 selections long. i am not okay with this.

IF Novie is suggesting he won't take a C this round, I'm almost positive that our commish, SteveAmes, would nix that idea. Kind of defeats the whole draft by position concept. Steve?
