Screw Thy Neighbor...135 mil. cap, DH, stay within card set and assigned stadia. Complete the draft, set your lineups, all is well...then comes the twist to your genitals, as the person assigned the franchise immediately before yours in the numeric rankings selects a player from your player set to substitute for one of your starters. {For example, I will be making a substitution to Novie's roster and line up.} This sub must be assigned to their primary position, which is the first one listed on their card, and they must be the starter in every game for which they are not injured. This must be a player that plays in the field, not the DH. You MAY designate them to have a defensive sub with a lead, however, and to avoid righty and lefty pitchers, and you do not have to say they cannot be pinch hit for. The player for whom they are substituted are deleted from the roster, and ineligible for the season. After substitution, you will have additional space under the cap. You may make two changes to your roster to make better use of this money, but your total salary after these two changes may not exceed the salary total you had before the substitution. You may not make any other roster substitutions until game 43. These restrictions on roster changes are to prevent some weasel from drafting a bunch of bums to protect his stars from deletion.
