I-Pick/U-Pick Theme League

A valid point. I am not sure how to structure it, but maybe we can have a gift registry. When I pick I tell my twin what position(s) to pick for me. Therefore I have some control over the madness. The registry is limited to 1st 4 picks. The last 2 the 'twin' can gift any player to you.

Thoughts?

1. Yount and request OF
2. Brett and request RP
etc

This gives you some roster control

Sounds reasonable to me. This would be any player elligible for that position right? So if you request a 2B someone could give you Chet Lemon right?

This sounds fun. I'm not sure why more people aren't jumping at this theme.

If I didn't have 4 active teams (my most ever) I would have joined. Its not like I have to save my last credit for the final round of the players championship or anything...
On that note, I was thinking that having the ability to request a position gives you a little too much power over your own roster. Perhaps let the other guy choose the position/player but just set limitations on how many of a certain position can be given out.
Something like:
SP/RP/OF: max 2
all other positions: max 1

I kind of like voovits idea of requiring that a minimum at each posiition be picked (at least one OF/IF/SP/RP). That prevents someone from asking for 4 RP's. But I'm up for whatever.

lol I was just gonna say I'm interested. Now that my 70's tourney team is done and 80's is approaching conclusion I'm good to go. I have some questions as well but looks moot now, so just let me know if that changes.
