First Ring!

First Ring!

Postby JohnnyBlazers » Tue Mar 21, 2006 9:00 am

After getting my butt smoked first few times out, I finally got a Ring!

I want to thank all the gracious vets on this board who gave all the tips & info needed to understand a somewhat complex game, at least from a newbie's perspective.

Now for the really important stuff, when do I get my 2 new credits? Where do they appear on the page?

Here's a link to my WORLD CHAMPION team!

Quite a finish to a game seven too, huh? That's one of those moments you would have liked to have witnessed happen instead of seeing in a box score. I'm sure you're enjoying it anyway. Nice job (117 HRs from Manny & Beltre!)

Good job, man. I think that, from now on, I will spell success, J-U-A-N-R-I-N-C-O-N. That gus was a STUD out of your bullpen. Way to go. Just like BigMahon said, now go get another one!

Thanks for the props! Juan Rincon really was worth every penny and more - he appeared in 92 games and led the league with an 11.75 K's per 9. More than League MVP and Cy Young winner Big Unit. Curious, RIncon wasn't even in the running. Anyway, when do I get my credits?

Congrats! This is an amazing game. I would never look at that rotation and offense and think: "now there is a championship club!"

Beltre, M-Cab, and Jeter proably were the ticket in Wrigley.
