In most keeper leagues you get supplemental draft picks at the end of the draft to bring your roster up to the requirements.

The requirement after the free agent draft is that all teams have a minimum of 48 players so,

tcochran will end up with 48 players by having a 9th round pick

Ironwill should have dropped to 40 before this trade, but it is a small matter at this point. He is at 40 now- so 8 rounds makes 48.

After watching the Phils take on the Nats last night (snapped a photo of my five month year old with Ryan Howard in the on deck circle, they're about the same size), I can attest that Ian Desmond is a stiff. Nobody else should take him.

Looking over my team, it appears that many of my best players (Sizemore, Shields, Webb, Martin, etc) had a down year in 2009. Hopefully they'll bounce back in 2010, but in the meantime I'm open to offers on most of the players on my roster. In particular, guys with decent cards like Rolen, Thome, Davis, and maybe even Santana might give me more value in trade than in use this year. The only real sacred cows I have are Haren and Teixeira.

I understand we are in a trading freeze until the end of the free agent draft, but if anyone is interested in a player I believe I have a work-around that will comply with league rules.

I'm looking for draft picks and long-term value. The positions I'm looking to fill most are 2B, 3B, LF, and RF. Of course, more SP is always better.
