"All in the Family" draft - Check for password + a Big Trade

Okay the draft is winding down. There are going to be a lot of default picks from here on out so we should finish in a day or so. I would like to start loading by Sunday. Hopefully we can get loaded in a day or two leaving us plenty of time to tinker and talk trades. Here are a couple of things people need to know about the autodraft.

1) Divisions. We can either load first come, first served or assign by lotto tonight using the same states. Your vote.

2) Autodraft card. You will be able to list one hitter and one pitcher. The cap is 100 million. I'm going to ask everyone to list on their draft card EVERY player on their roster over 5 million and EVERY primary SS over 3.50 million (to cover Bowa). Not everyone is going to get their first choice so I think it's only fair that you don't get defaulted a guy you automatically have to drop because they are already on another team. Everyone has plenty of cap to do this and you will be able to drop any 5.0+ guy who won't open the season on your roster after the autodraft.

3) The "Macs". Ebbets drafted the Macs and they are considered a group just like the Johnsons, Bretts, Mays, etc. He has the choice of adding McCovey, McDowell or another "Mac" as one of his two players during the autodraft but no one else can. Ebbets does not have to pick a "Mac" but he has that option if he chooses. If anyone else is defaulted McCovey, McDowell, etc they must be dropped no later than the waiver period.

4) You can list NO MORE than one non-drafted hitter and one non-drafted pitcher on your autodraft card. No loading up with extra guys in case you miss your top choices. These two players should be listed at the top of your autodraft card. Who you list first (hitter or pitcher) is up to you. If you list more than two players on your autodraft card all of those players must be dropped and you forfeit your two star players.

5) Trades. Remember all same name players cannot be split up. They can be traded but must stay together. If Jimmy wants to trade the Johnsons he has to trade all 8 of them together! And for the sake of this league the "Macs", Hendrick/Hendricks, Torrez/Torres, Stone/Stoneman and Hendrick/Hendricks are considered same name players. If you drafted for example the May/Walker group you could trade the Walkers together and keep the Mays.

6) This has been an absolute blast and I've already started working on an 80's version. Everybody in this league will have the first chance to join. If interested let me know. BTW the Johnsons have nothing over the 80's Davis group, which contains 9 players!

Why did I think that we were going to extend the live draft two rounds and pick our players? I thought the total team salaries were going to be added up and the draft order for the final two rounds would be from lowest to highest team salary, then snake back in the final round.

Here is a question: It was stated that we cannot drop the two extra players we get so that means we are stuck with whatever replacement player(s) we get in the autodraft?

It was always one pitcher/one hitter added via the autodraft.

No you are not stuck with any replacement player if you miss out on your preferred selection. If you miss out on one guy, immediatly drop that player and put your first choice as a waiver selection. If you miss again drop that guy and pick someone else up from waivers. You can list a max of two players on the waiver list if you are unlucky enough to miss on both of your guys. Once the season starts those two players become permanent members of your extended roster. They cannot be replaced during the season. If for example you get the bad Aaron card you are stuck with the bad Aaron card. You cannot replace him with say Lezcano (or anyone else that may be leftover from the live draft/autodraft).
