And I will send my keepers to Risden and LMB to stay fair (before I look at others'). Just got home and will take a look tonight.

OK, I sent them to LMB, as Risden hasn't sent his keepers yet.

So far I still need keepers from:

GordieHowe
Risden
ugrant
rjnewman
sneezedoc

I do not plan to prepare the detailed spreadsheet like last time for distribution (sorry, no time). Any other volunteers? Otherwise we can keep a running list of draft picks below the pick form like we have done in other leagues. Then you add the player you took to the list as you go (by position).

Risden is probably burning the midnight oil devising ways to eliminate the Twins in tonight's crucial game 5 in the semis. So much for my regular season record against the Big Red Machine.... Great series though! And franky waits, rested and salivating!

Spreadsheet

Postby GFDWARF07 » Wed Apr 14, 2010 9:10 am

OK, a change of heart/mind. I will have the initial "seed" spreadsheet showing each team and highlighting the selected players and can send that out to those for which I have e-mail addresses before we start the draft. Then you can all maintain your own sheets from there.

If I don't have your e-mail send it to me at dwiberg123@yahoo.com

Good luck all!

Good luck to your Twins in Game 5 tonight. I am sending my list of 12 Little Indians to you momentarily (to your yahoo e-mail address). Damn, what an ugly team. I know that the Expos and Padres aren't any better, so I'll keep my yap shut.

Update 2:

Postby GFDWARF07 » Wed Apr 14, 2010 11:20 am

I now only need keepers from:

GordieHowe
ugrant

As a heads-up, I am traveling next week Wednesday afternoon through Sunday. heading to Vegas with my wife for the first time in far too long. We had this trip scheduled before my surgery, so I am hoping to get the "all clear" next week from my surgeon before we leave. If he is unable or unwilling I may have to ask sneeze for the clearance to travel. I figure he owes me that much? :)

Anyway if the draft is not done by then I will try to keep proxies going via Bob or Randy, but as the DOT says every summer in Minny "expect some delays".

OH, also we are heading on our first trip to Target Field tomorrow for the Bosox finale - have been anticipating this since 1981! I hope Frank Robinson doesn't show up in their lineup!

Thanks,
Dan

Hey Dan, let me know how it goes at Target Field. I haven't gotten my wife to drum up tickets yet. Many of my co-workers were there on opening day. Make sure to try the $11 "Pork Chop on a stick" or the deep-fryed $7.50 "Walleye on a Spike". It all sounds very good and so very nutritious.
I'll expect a report card. BTW, what's up with this 70 degree and sunny days in Minneapolis in April. That's insane. I'm usually still shoveling snow.

***BTW, I hope Frank Robinson does show up in the lineup. Isn't he like 70 years old? 8-)

GF- I emailed you my keepers about the time you made your last post. I'll be back to check this PM if you didn't get them so I can resend.

I'm on the road so my connectivity will be off and on until Sunday.

Even at 70, he'd still bat cleanup for the 2010 White Sox. :(
