I have never seen both catchers hurt at the same time, even for the remainder of the game. A catcher playing DH will not go to C during the game in which the starting C gets injured. A position player will finish that game at C. To start off the next game, however, that B/U C will go to C and they'll be a new DH.[/quote:d2814caafa]
Though I could be wrong about both catchers getting hurt in the same game, I thought it happened to me once before. I can't find where it happened, so I'm going to assume I'm mistaken if everyone else says it's not true.
I do however know for sure that HAL will not move the catcher playing DH to catch the next game, he will remain as the DH.

Chris Bando my DH remained my DH after Tony Pena got hurt and HAL used Bobby Bonilla to catch the remaining 2 games of the series.
