LA-Z-BOY’S LEAGUE XXXII FORMAT

We will use the diamonddope site if I can get everyone registered and there is no problem with setup. If there are any problems, we'll revert back to our old method, here on ILC.

We will use these revised LA-Z-BOY Rules with the slow draft lasting an eight day period. (Slow Draft may be shorten to accommodate Quick Draft) The slow drafting time with 24 hour clock (basically No Clock) is to accommodate the varied work schedules we have. I'll shorten the slow draft before using a Quicker Clock.

League will use the ATG V Historical Version of SOM Game, Advanced, 100MM CAP, No D/H, Frenzy, and 5/10/20 drop rule

We can slow draft rounds beginning 4/30/10 or as soon as draft order is settled before our agreed upon QUICK DRAFT Friday of 5/7/10

We will use two randomizer runs, first to determine draft order, second to determine stadium draft order and divisions.

Your Availability will be required on Friday evening, 5/7/10 for the Quick Draft and Frenzy. (About a 5 Hour Commitment) If you are unable to make this commitment please do not join this league.

League Opening Day will be Monday 5/10/10

League Draft will consist of a slow draft starting on or before Friday 4/30/10 (would like minimum four, max eight rounds) and last until 7:30 PM Eastern Friday 5/7/10 (Night of Quick Draft)

Stadiums will be UNIQUE and Separate pick between slow and Quick Draft (First Round of the Quick Draft or last round of slow draft), with stadium draft order and division assignment determined by a second randomizer draw. Our regular Quick Draft of six rounds will follow with draft resuming with Round (5, 7, or 9) Player Draft and auto draft the remaining 11, 13, or 15 players to fill the roster.
ALL TEAMS will enter the league Friday immediately after Quick Draft 5/7/10.


There will be 24 Hour (basically no clock) (see below) until 7:30 p.m. Eastern Friday, 2/19/10, No Quick Draft round will be started after 10:30 PM. Eastern unless by agreement of all managers. A 24 hour clock will be used so anyone MIA 24 hours will be skipped. We haven’t had a big MIA problem so I really don't see it as a big problem. It basically covers our varied work schedules but allows for the draft to move on after 24 hours.

Clock time for the Quick-Pick Draft will be (5) Five Minutes per Selection, If Selection is not made we will move on to next selection. Makeup Pick can be made at anytime, but if same player is selected, that player will go to the manager on the clock; no other decision will be made. Please make pick in the allotted time.

All drafted players are to be put on the BOTTOM OF YOUR DRAFT LIST.

Division Assignments by Draft Positions (Round 5,7, or 9"A" -- Stadium and Division Draft Position)

EAST: 12 11 10 9

CENTRAL: 8 7 6 5

WEST: 4 3 2 1

I know every possible situations is not covered in the rules but any decisions that have to be made will be made as fairly as possible
