No. Look all the way to the right in boxscores and you will see the F rating. As long as the Starting Pitcher gets his 3 days off he will come in fully rested for his next start. If he had to relieve between starts (long extra inning game) then he could come in fatigued to start the game. You can't use a pitcher up and he won't get worn out during the season. There is no need to rest him, it won't do you any good. Mike
