I'd reason that the clock is turned off on weekends because people are more inclined to be out enjoying life (e.g. thisisray), so they might not be around a computer. During the work week, even if you're working, you're more inclined to be around a computer and can access the draft.

I hear you but 24 hours without a pick is a little much. Maybe we can think about making it 6 hours on weekend days?

It's a little tricky to do 6 hours because 3 hours is the current maximum. I'll send a message to Adrian to at least allow that to be an option.

I agree about 24 hours being too long. I sent hk mossy an e-mail this morning, but he has not responded, and obviously has not made his pick. This is disappointing. :(

Don't get me wrong folks, I was outside playing football here in Philly all day enjoying the day but with technology today, you should at least be able to logon once a day on the weekend knowing you are in a draft.

I'll echo the sentiment that 24 hours is too long for no pick in a draft like this. At a minimum, I think if you are going to be unavailable for that long of a period, dropping a note to the other 11 managers would be a kind thing to do (like thisisray did) - that plus using proxies. Things do come up out of everyones control sometimes, so you never know what the delay is - but some reasonableness on the clock at all times would seem to make sense, even if it is 24 hours.

I can switch the clock on if ironwill1 gives me the OK. Just turn it on for two minutes to fast forward the pick to Schnoogens.

I am inclined to agree that the weekend clock should go away. However, changing the rules without everyone knowing in advance is unfair. That said, starting next weekend we will forego the clock.
It is disappointing that HK Mossy hasn't left proxies.

Gosh, I hope we don't make it to [u:34c5953d8f]next[/u:34c5953d8f] weekend!

Also, I don't understand what you mean by "forego the clock". Right now, we don't use a clock on the weekend. Do you mean you want to use a clock (a 3 hr clock)?

Should have said "use the clock" starting next weekend.
