Good evidence bobm......the jury is back.......Guilty as charged!!!!

Of course, my vote doesn't count. But what you have provided is clearly beyond suspicious. I don't blame you for wanting to get out. I've only bowed out of one league due to ridiculous collusion. This one isn't far off.

I typically don't post on these boards but this brought back bad memories for me.

I was in a 2007 live draft with HELLOO and the EXACT same thing that is happening to you, happened in my league. Over 7 suspect trades between the same two teams with his good team always getting the better deal. The name of the league was "Allens Alley 1". His good team (Vdara Scarlets) finished 102-60 with a run diff of +180 and his bad team (St. Pete Sun Gods) was 63-99 with a run diff. of -280. Several of the trades were lopsided by more than $10MM-14MM to favor his good team. BTW...He won this league (if you look at this profile-the only one he has won) as his team had approx. $40MM-$50MM more salary than most other teams. What's really shady is that the ID from the fictitious team (St. Pete Sun Gods - Parisi33) has not been used since!!! IMO - This is not a coincidence and now it is happening again. He doesn't play much, but when he does, it is always controversial. On top of that, the message boards got very heated with nasty conversations going back and forth the whole season. A very unpleasant league to be in!!

AVOID HELLOO at all costs or you will be sorry and frustrated.

If you wonder if we cried foul, the answer is absolutely. Several of the owners contacted Strato and we all got the same "canned" response that collusion is difficult to prove. blah blah blah IMO...It couldn't be more obvious but Bernie and his guys have to be politically correct. They are very hesitant to act on the "Fair Play" rule even when it is obvious. If someone knows if they ever saw this enforced, please let me know because I have never seen and don't think it ever will. I think the guilty owner would actually have to come out and say "I cheat" before they would act. I know that they have a tough job policing but I have never had any luck proving collusion to them when I thought it was obvious.

I hope you can get out of that league because from my experience with HELLOO, it will only get worse.

Good luck!!!!

Another issue to consider is that the league has a couple of new players (not counting arp333 and kunzzz).
More specifically duudelike, who looks like has put together a good team based on his record, but is getting royally screwed because he's stuck with the cheater (yeah, it's obvious). This league might leave a bad taste in his mouth and may stop him from continuing to play and support the game.

[quote:2d056e49c9="bobm1007"][quote:2d056e49c9="keyzick"]I gotta echo Bombers sentiment. I went through all those moves like 3 or 4 times trying to figure out where you might think there's collusion, but I don't really see any. Is it just the quantity of trades you're objecting to?

It's also tough to pull off lopsided trades in an $80M league, so not sure if there's much to this one.[/quote:2d056e49c9]

I hope that you and LM Bomber have tracked some of the additional comments and info.. and no.. the number of trades are not the issue.. and this is a live draft so no cap involved

if you still feel all those moves (and the many additional moves I have not shown ) are reasonable, then please post that position and I will stand down on this issue[/quote:2d056e49c9]

Hey Bob...after reading through the posts...yeah, definitely looks like collusion to me too.

Bernieh,

maybe the proof of collusion requires clearer evidence, but the simple rules of fair-play are certainly not respected when you have a team cruising with a 160M team salary with others getting as low as 80M.

It's no fun at all for the other players to see this happening.

and based on the number of times this manager plays strat on TSN annually , and the fact that he does get free credits with his "approach" to the game, he could become a perpetual customer to TSN without paying a cent more than he originally invested.

The collusion, or rather obvious strategy by this person to manipulate the system is offensive and petty and not in the gentlemanly vein of sportsmanship that i have become accustomed to in Strat.

Quack Quack Quack. Hey it sounds like a duck!!!!

If I was one of the teams that the allegations were being made against I would most surely protest with great vehemance if any of this was untrue.

However, no one doth protest it seems......
