I started a "completed rounds" thread.

Also, I hadn't realized until it became my pick that I would decide between the two remaining players as to which one I wanted. It was only between two players, but that's a pretty fortuitous picking spot.

Yeah...when I saw I'd get Mauer or HRam, I was hoping for HRam too. Then I realized Jeep had the next assignment, and knew he'd give me Mauer leaving HRam as the last man standing that would have to go to him...well played Jeep!

This will be the first time I've had Mauer in the set...not sure how I feel about it at $13M, but we shall see...

I like Mauer. Had him probably on 3 or 4 teams. I can still biuld a team around him, I normally like some cheap values anyway.

Also note that we have to start an under 1 mil player in this league. That will help offset Mauer's salary, too.

Yeah, Stoney, I had that same exact good news/bad news thought!

Jeep - good point about offsetting with the sub-$1M guy...forgot about that. I guess I can also snag some value by being forced to use a couple 4's in the field.

OK - I'm feeling good about this now! :D

are Other Rules #1 and #2 mutually exclusive? Meaning can I start 1M player who is a "4" at his position and kill two rules with one stone? My guess is that "one stone" is contrary to the angry spirit of the league?
