Foggy, I'm sorry that's not spelled out exactly in The Rules. Your assumption is correct, no killing two birds with one stone. The under 1 mil and the '4' defender are mutually exclusive.

Other tidbits - You can have as many '4' ranges as you want over the two required, and a '5' range counts as a '4', IOW '4' or worse.

Arryl is also e-mailing me his pick in a few.

1. Every Manager must start a '4' range (or worse) IF and a '4' range (or worse) OF at all times during the season. Only exception is when those starters are injured, the sub doesn't have to be a '4'. Note: Catcher doesn't count as an IF. Also note: These players can't be replaced for defensive purposes at the end of the game.


If I play Zobrist at 3B (or CF :shock: ) where he has a 4 range, does that qualify or is the 4 range IF/OF player seperate from the hitter we are forced to keep?

I don't really have anything to be angry about. I don't mind my park, and I avoided the hitters I did not want to have. I am curious to see if Zobrist is useful, but he seems to be doing well in the other leagues I am in. Finally Carpenter was an SP I wanted to use. :)

If you want to make me angry, put me in a division with 3 Yankee fans, or Maple Leaf fans, or Cavaliers fans, or Patriots fans. :evil: :evil: :evil:
