OFET 2009 Chat Thread

Just to remind everyone of the rules
ran this format in each of last two years and had fun (more so drafting). So I am starting it up for 2010 (using the 2009 cards).
Here are the rules:
1) 31 round draft. 30 players and 1 unique stadium.
2) You can only pick one player from each team.
3) 25 go on your draft card. You can pick up 3 others from your draft list to make a 28 man roster. You will lose rights to the other 2. You will have until midnight EST of the day after the draft runs to claim your other players. After which the remaining players are Free Agents. You may only have 1 player from a team on your roster at any time.
4) Trades are allowed, but you have to maintain the 1 Player 1 Team rule.
5) 200 mil cap. DH. 5/10/20 drop. FRENZY draft so we can make additions quickly.
6) Serpentine draft. Pick 3 lottery for draft order.
7) I will be keeping a grid of players taken by team.
8) If interested, sign up below. PM me your email address if you want the roster grid. I will update daily after 6 rounds.
9) Draft will probably be on an outside site.

It is [b:b99efadff1]highly[/b:b99efadff1] unlikely that we will load by tonight. Saturday or more likely Sunday is when it will happen. Let's keep filling and see where we get. The last guy in the West should wait until Saturday.

I think I messed up went to join league,assumed I could place myself in west got put into east.How can I move?

Left league .I guess I will sign up after 1st eight.New to this

I think we should have waivers. Only 25 of the 28 guys can be put on our draft cards. The other 3 should be allowed to safely be picked up in waivers without other managers accidentally taking them. After the waiver period, it can be open season.
This will probably just be a cleaner, safer way to do things.

I don't think waivers are needed if someone accidently picks the wrong player we have the record of it in Diamond Dope just has to release and pick up correct player
once the initial draft is done and we pick up our other 3 players within 24 hrs the remainign 2 are fair game for everyone anyways
the frenzy will work just fine,waivers you have to wait 2 days
