Can someone explain this? The pitcher was a righty, in 2009 Petco (1/1 ballpark singles). Kinsler's card shows a 1-3 roll vs RHP is a possible ballpark single. The result:
*** TOP OF INNING 1 ***
0 G.Soto 6-6 Strike Out b-0 F9
1 R.Howard 5-4 Ground Out (3B) b-0 gb(3B)x F9
2 I.Kinsler 1-3 Double (CF) b-2 bpSI 1 F9
The CF was A. Jones ("1" range "-3" arm). Kinsler is a "1-17" runner -- I guess there's a "stretch a single" option? I don't think I've seen it before on a ballpark single (though on non-ballpark singles I've seen an out made by the batter though he's credited with a single, implying he got thrown out at second).
