I've watched the Tigers all my life, but I'm open to new experiences.

On the other hand, it might be fun to see them actually get to the playoffs!

i hated the tigers before i hated the yankees..the 1987 collapse with the evil bill madlock sliding and breaking tony fernandes' elbow...

i guess the unleashed gives u avila and larish. a lot of homers steppin up to represent so far...i think this league will be interesting

I'm one of the ones still hoping the 60mil league eventually fills but it ain't looking good. I wanted to try a 24team 60mil league to see if it would seem more like managing real teams but hey in this league we will be so count me in.

We'll get to 24 now. Once you get to 12 the momentum starts to build. Once you get to 18 it fills up no problem.

Alright I admit it, I'm a Yankee fan. Grew up listening to Dad singing the praises of Mantle, Ford and Berra. 2nd favorite moment in sports was Reggie smashing 3 homers to wrap up the 77 series (like most Canadians my age, fave moment involved a certain Maple Leaf named Henderson!). Not saying that I want the Yankees for this league but I guess I could live with it lol.

I grew up a Washington Senators fan (the 1960's Senators) and became an Orioles fan after that (actually it took me 8 years after the Senators left to take to the O's). So. . . I am currently both an Orioles and Nationals fan. Like Geoff I will take the Nationals if I have the opportunity. If Geoff gets a higher team draft pick that's ok too, this league concept is cool enough that I will be happy with any team.

Paul, good to see you again, sorry that the Royals are not available.

mbrake - I sent the invitations to the other league members. I couldn't remember how to do it with a long email, but I sent the URL to them with the word "invite" to each of them (except oldmansmith, who has already joined our league!) as a "friend invititation". In my experience, this has worked as a form of communication. I also sent out slightly longer emails to the managers in the other leagues that I am in.

oldmansmith-do you have a way of contacting the people in the other league? Are you in any leagues with them?
