I echo those sentiments. One of the best division races I have been in, and even though I didn't make the playoffs, it was still a heck of a ride. Good luck to the playoff teams.

[b:aac126a699]Team Awards:[/b:aac126a699]

MVP - Hank Greenburg

Gehrig may have had the better #'s but for 5m more you expect that kind of results. Greenburgs presence batting 2nd solidified the lineup and oddly enough Greenburg came 2nd on the team in pretty much every stat category showing how valuable he was as DH.

CY Young - Bob Lemon

After his strong start I was hoping he would win 20+ games, but that didnt occur after he cooled down. Nonetheless he still was a very good improvement over last season and anchored the staff. 320+ IP was key considering how frugal I went on my bullpen (probably not a good idea lol).

Surprise Player - B. Buhl

Pretty decent result considering the price tag & park I was in. :)

Goat - Enos Slaughter

Dreadful dreadful dreadful. I was asleep at the wheel & kept hoping he'd turn it around. Should have cut him at the trade deadline for a platooner to go with Roenicke & add an arm to the pen. I think I batted him 5th or 6th so that just goes to show how useless that clutch was. Also pretty disappointed with Yount. :(

Bullpen - C. Lefferts / J. d'Acquisto

Not much to choose from in the pen, but those guys werent too bad LOL

Congratulations to T.Richardson on his 'The Naturals' Championship! As many may recall, T.Rich had to miss a season due to real life, and is actually managing his 2nd team in 'The Naturals'. I believe his original team was run by penngray (who will need to be replaced).

There will be a couple of weeks hiatus due to the start of 2006, unless Munich Man or another owner wants to keep the Commish duties. Otherwise we'll probably start up in mid April.

Congrats to T. Rich--I tell you, I kept on thinking that Brett and Mays can't keep batting .150 forever. I guess I was wrong. Nice season guys.
