Gentelmen,

Would like to introduce a new theme league, that will combine some new twists that I think will be a ton of fun.

This will be a hitters league as you will see below, but also a league that has many new twists, that will allow you to use even more players you might not normally use, and generating some serious offense.

Introducing:

The “Two” Close for Comfort League (Ted Knight eat your heart out) - featuring small parks, super platoons, more hitting, less defense, max rosters, a 200 million payroll, live draft and many of your strat favorites you never get to use

Draft Rules

200 Million Cap/DH
No player that is a "1" at any position is eligible to be drafted
No hitters fewer than 1 million are eligible to be drafted
No starting pitcher over 6 million is eligible to be drafted
No relief pitcher over 4 million is eligible to be drafted
15 round Live Draft on Strat Boards
Teams can carry the max of up to 27 players on their active roster
Parks - Parks can be drafted, but only 4 parks will be used in this league, Fenway (3), Fulton (3), Tiger (3) and Wrigley (3). The (3) meaning that Three teams must take Fenway, three Wrigley and so
on. This way, each division will have all four unique parks in it. When you choose your park will determine what division you are in (ex. First Fenway chosen will be in division 1, second Fenway in Division 2).
Trades may be made (and are encouraged). Only players on your active roster may be traded. Trades must be balanced (2 for 2, 4 for 4, etc) and managers are encouraged to try to keep the money close to being balanced as well.
Random Lottery will determine draft position, state lotteries lowest to highest.

Because of no "1"s on Defense and no players under 1 million, shortstops are in short supply in this league. Every team will have a "2" at SS (and also a “2” at 2b) but you may also be forced into playing players out of position at SS, as you can see from the
Players that are eligible there. This should provide for some more scoring and very interesting games.

Here are the player groupings. I was very careful to balance these groups either by money or quality of player. Some of the lesser players at some positions are grouped together into what I call “Super Platoons” to give them greater value. Since this is a hitter’s league with a 200 mill payroll, it will make for some interesting choices, with chances for great platoons or just one good player.

1. my only time to make picks are early in morn before 9AM and after 9:30PM. During the day is impossible as I'm on the road inbtwn
