I'm a very sleep when I'm dead kinda guy....skipped many nights, no kidding at least twice a week, Just reading or writing from about 12-21..that's how I wrote most of my music...just all night long! You had to work to pay for the band expense and living too! then actually rehearse or play out with the band whenever wherever at least 5 nights a week, and you couldn't have a regular job when there were labels at every show, but had to friggin' work...no benefactors paying anyone's way....you'd go on tour for weeks months....and you were constantly booking...David Byrne's people offered us two weeks on the road after he sees us at CBGB's so I have to quit! So I guess I really never got over the life...I just channell it differently, and my new wife does take pretty good care of me, makes me sleep every night...when I pull an all nighter, it's like I went to a strip joint with the boys with her. :lol:

Uh...I took my wife (before she was my wife) to a strip club with a bunch of people from work once. The whole time it was "Oh Geez! I can't look! I looked! Oh Geez! :lol: :lol:

...like my first wife LIKED to go to strip joints with me...and didn't mind if I stayed up all night. Shoulda known. Somethin' we should obviously continue to pass down to our sons is this lesson. :lol:
