1973 Draft League - Load Teams Please

You can see the randomizer run in the ATG forum. I will get somdraft set up over the next few hours. Draft can begin as soon as all are ready.

On the randomizer I ran myself I was picking second and third. Thought this might be too obvious. :lol:

All ineligible players have been removed on somdraft. The draft is on rain delay, and I'll turn it on tomorrow morning. You can being entering proxies anytime.

One note: I accidentally removed Lloyd Allen, an eligible player for '73. Marking his spot is Barlow, an ineligible player. By picking Barlow you are actually picking Lloyd Allen. If someone knows how to fix this, please do.

Mr. Kite, I could not find a user ID for you, so I made one for you. It is "MRKITE" and the starter password is (I think) "test".

Remember, only 2 catcher eligible players per team at any one time. Also remember there is an 8-hour limit on the draft, but knowing this crowd that limit will be loosely enforced.

24 rounds + 1 stadium.

1. There is NO salary cap?

2. Once the draft has run, ALL players are available? Or only those from 73? (I assume its the latter)

1. No salary cap. No need for one, given the limited player pool.

2. Correct - only the players from the list are eligible.

We've been stalled on JSAM since noon. I sent him a PM about 4:00 pm but have not received a reply. I'd hate to see his first pick get skipped, and it seems probable he doesn't know the draft has started. I say we wait a day or even two to start enforcing the clock . . . .

Does anyone have another e-mail address for him?

I'm wondering if JSam even knows there is a league, let alone that it's his pick in round one.

He last posted to this thread on March 18th as the second team to sign up. Unless I'm missing a post, I don't think this thread has heard from him since.

Hopefully he will notice soon?
