League parameters:
ATG V
200M in player values, 80M in auction $$
unique ballparks auctioned with .50 minimum
no in-season transactions*
adv., frenzy (duh), 20% (irrelevant)

*I like the idea of a midseason supplemental auction to use the remaining three roster spots - anyone else?

Sign-up:

May I suggest we ditch the ballpark auction? With so many parks available of every shape and size in ATG5 there is virtually no competition for them.

In our last ATG5 auction rather than saving (wasting?) 0.5 or whatever for a park, we waited until the end of the auction and did a draft, with the draft order based on the Strat value of your final roster, low to high. It seemed to work well for all involved.

Choosing the park post auction seemed to work quite well in the last league.

How would a mid season supplimental draft work? would we have time between games? would we need to save some $ from the auction?

:D

OK... I'm good with the ballpark idea.
Also, I think the midseason 3-round draft would take place the fifth week of the season (games 85-105). The draft order would be worst-to-first based on records at the 84-game mark, with H2H, then run. diff. for tie-breakers.
You can spend whatever $$ you have left under your cap to draft any three players.
Still no trading, cuts, etc. otherwise.

Maybe we should move this to the ATG forum since most people here are already in leagues and it looks like we need a couple of newcomers.... ?

I am in the other sealed bid auction for ATG V, and I would love to be in this league if there is room. I like the sealed bid a lot more than regular auction.
