I realize we start with the top three hitters and top two pitchers, the top meaning the top valued.

Am I correct in assuming the winning bidder is then able to nominate ANY of the remaining hitters, if a hitter was awarded, or pitchers, if a pitcher was awarded?

When I drafted in my old auction league, it was one of my first group of auctions, and my first ever ATG league, and I made some rookie mistakes, some exorbitant early bids. This time I will be smarter, although everyone else probably will be too.
