These kind of groupings are not very good for the game as Those 4 positions are probably the top 4. There will be a distinct advantage for the guy with Hornsby and Yount at 2b and ss also with a great CF and 1 of the few third baseman. Being in the top 4 pitching rounds means nothing!
In the future I would suggest that picks should be weighted for example if someone has last pick of SS they should be in the 75 percentile for 2B and top 50% for CF and Top 25% for 3B or something close where hitting and pitching are equally dispersed throughout the rounds!!

OK, so, I SHOULD have drafted the '23 Frisch, but the end result is I'm OK, because I could have changed to the '21 Frisch post draft? So, who do I put on my draft card, the '23 or '21 Frisch? Or does it matter? Guess I missed the "main position" thing. Also, I just never consider Frisch as anything OTHER than a 2b guy, as that's the only position I have ever used him at.

OK, that's who I will put on it. Are our drafted players protected; I can drop the '23 Frisch for the '21 post draft, without worrying about him getting poached in the 10 or so seconds he is a free agent?

Yes, you have rights to those players (and their other cards) that you select in the live draft.
