Guys,

Already going to be traveling Friday if we get the league filled today (but should still have a good chance at making the waiver draft), but I Saturday or Sunday Waiver Draft would not be good at all.

If we are not filled by tonight, what is the thought other waiting until Saturday to fill the league and do a Monday autodraft, giving us more time to make moves and trade?

UGH...I'm not a big fan of waiting. I'm away Saturday and Sunday myself and I'd still hate to wait.

Is anyone in a league with DrKoepke and can send him a league e-mail. Or better yet...does anyone have his e-mail?

Ummm...don't get me wrong though. If people want to wait...I'll wait too.

I sent a reminder to Dennis earlier, so hopefully he gets in today.

The problem with waiting is almost every day is going to be bad for someone. Last two leagues I was in, waivers were on Mondays--the worst possible day for me. If we fill up Thursday instead of today, Saturday is bad because I'll be a delegate at a political convention. However, I still wouldn't want to wait.

I would prefer we fill up sooner so there are a few days to straighten out any possible draft mistakes. But priority is to have opening day Monday, May 24. The following weekend is Memorial Day, and I can almost guarantee that would be an awkward time to start for somebody. Also, my philosophy with a league like this is to keep it moving. Delays hurt the very thing that makes this type of league so cool: continuity.

Anyway, that's my two cents. I'm am now stepping down from my soap box.

I'd hate to wait too....like I can't stand waiting right now for the league to fill.

The issue is with me and I certainly will not hold it up.....I just hope that we dont have to wait another night......... :D
