Tommy Herr hit 10 regular season home runs and 2 in the playoffs on his 1989 card which contains no home runs so unless he stretched a triple into a home run, all of his home runs came off the pitcher's card.

Regular season he hit 2 home runs against left handed pitching and 8 against right handed pitching in 470 at bats. In the post season he added two more in 39 at bats.

12 home runs in 509 at bats for a guy who doesn't have one on his card.

When I picked him up, he had 7 home runs and I was sure he was playing on his '85 card. Just goes to show you, that it is not always as easy to read a card as some of us veterans like to think it is.

I thought that was impossible. That all HRs, even on a pitcher's card would be changed. Am I incorrect on this????

'89 Herr has "N" power for both sides of his card. Therefore he can hit homeruns off the pitchers card on either side.
