Robinson Tejeda's No Hitters get to #27

Postby pkwmati » Tue May 25, 2010 9:49 am

Here is a game where Tejeda goes 6 1/3 hitless, walks back to back batters, drops from F9 to F4 and gets pulled with a no-hitter.

second of 3 no-hitters for the team on the season. Also...

Yovani Gallardo ...

and Jon Lester (in the Playoffs) ...

Not sure how often these guys throw no-hitters. All 3 were at Oakland Colisseum.

I got 2 from him also. Was hoping for the hat trick but alas it never happened. Good luck with getting #3.

He hasn't pitched one for me yet (36 games into the season) but Verlander did (and missed a perfect game with one BB). My home park is Turner Field.

close but no cigar...

[quote:d153369ab3]Tejeda(4-1) was tremendous on the mound for Canton. He didn't allow much,
just 1 hit and 3 walks in 9 innings. Tejeda mowed down 10 Rocky Point
batters reducing his ERA from 4.63 to 3.34. The right-handed Tejeda lost his
chance for a no-hitter when Justin Morneau singled with two outs in the 9th
inning. [/quote:d153369ab3]

Morneau's hit was a solid 1-7 single
