Live DRAFT Starts Monday March 27

we are almost done with loading proxies.. I woudl ask each of you to review your teams jsut to be sure you have only your players... and since proxies have run without hitches.. have to believe that is the case..
We will start a 4 hour clock on Monday March 27
We can start drafting prior to that once proxies are all loaded.. but no one must miss a turn.. I will leave clock at 24 hours until Monday..

just to be clear bob... those who have protected more than 25 MUST draft their protected players before drafting people on their unprotected list correct?

FM.. the live draft starts at round 26 for everyone... those that protected more than 25 players will have their draft stop sooner and they willpcik up their "26 + protected players" at that time.... .

hmmm... that doesn't seem very fair to me....
if you protect 30 you shouldn't start selecting until round 31... draft is supposed to help create some parity. :?

well you will be drafting 15 players wheil I for example will only be drafting 13 players... so you will get to draft and extra 2....
this way .. every team gets to start at round 26.. otherwise the teams who only protected 25 would have many "first" round draft picks...
afraid there is no perfect answer.... :)

well i would argue that the protected players are at least as good as the ones they could pick up in a draft otherwise they wouldn't have protected em.
the good answer is to have each team protect the same number of players. perhaps we can vote on this for next year as this feels like those of us protecting the minimum are getting the short end of this. perhaps i should have read the rules better. :(
