This will be the 5th annual Aplhabet League. Everyone who has played this theme loves the concept. It is very challenging constructing your draft card and assembling a final roster heading into opening day. New twists have been added for extra enjoyment this season.

[b:5d345b56c0]Alphabet Theme League V Rules:[/b:5d345b56c0]

1. Each Owner's Line-Up must be in alphabetical order by last name from lead-off to the number 9 hitter.

2. You may start the season with your Line-Up in regular alphabetical order OR reverse alphabetical order. (A-Z or Z-A)

3. The option in number 2 is new and this rule is new as well: After the [b:5d345b56c0]81 [/b:5d345b56c0]game mark, each owner must reverse his Line-up. In other words, if you were in regular alphabetical order (A-Z) the first half of the season you will switch it up and be in reverse (Z-A) for the second half of the season.

4. You do not have to state beforehand your batting order preferences. Obviously after the season starts we will know, but that makes for a little intrigue.

5. Any park and division. Load at will, but Please load in a [u:5d345b56c0]timely manner[/u:5d345b56c0].

In case of an injury it is OK to let HAL decide your line-up leaving the injured player in. If, however, you replace the injured starter manually the line-up must be in alphabetical order.

Line-ups must be alphabetical, but can be in either order (A-Z or Z-A). You can not switch in the middle of a series, but it is acceptable to switch between series if you'd like.

Just got through creating my draft card. The switcheroo at the season's half-way mark is going to make this even more challenging. Can't wait to start. I posted the PW above in The Rules.

This is an easy one guys...autodraft so no waiting on laggards...no fiddling with lineups cuz you have to go alphabetical...and...BEST OF ALL:

Jeep and Kev are in it, so you know at worst you can only be 3rd from the bottom in the overall standings!!

As much as I didn't want to, I went ahead and joined the East with two legendary SOM owners......Jeep and Keyzick.

Hopefully, the other guys will wake up and join soon. I think the key issue is that most guys who play SOM baseball don't know how to spell. This may be stopping some of the guys from joining. :shock:
