From the first post of this thread:
[quote:a87d2909f7="Palanion"]
If there is a tie, this is announced, and the tied owners have 24 hours to make a new bid. They [b:a87d2909f7]must [/b:a87d2909f7]bid, and their minimum bids must be the $$ at which they tied. Again a winner is declared, or there is another tie, and owners rebid. If they remain tied after a second rebid, then the player is given to the owner who made the earliest bid at the previous tie (the one before this tie) at the price of the last tie.[/quote:a87d2909f7]
So, they tied at .51, rebid to .52 and then a second rebid to .53.
The winner is the person who has the first to rebid (at the .52 tie) and gets the player at the last rebid (.53).

I just realized that I never specified division alignment. Did anyone have any preconceived notions on this? How has it been done in the past?

It seems to me we ran a randomizer after picking parks. Although I am not opposed to a different method.

[quote:fdf74acaad="DOHowser"][quote:fdf74acaad="DHowser"]all passed so opening bid of 0.80 wins it for me[/quote:fdf74acaad]

Now that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Please check your inbox again to make certain you are not mistaken! I demand a do over.[/quote:fdf74acaad]

I will at least confirm that I passed...shall we hold bidding on Lombardi?

Did DOHowser bid? If so, do it over or credit his bid. If not, I think it stands, Dickey having no bids is not weird at this point in the draft.\\

Also need Gorshar for Suggs

DOHowser and Bill Dickey

Postby hackra » Fri Jun 25, 2010 5:18 pm

looking at DOHowser's team, I suspect now that he was just "chiding" DHowser. But if DOHowser did bid or did not and wants to outbid DHowser, I would be fine with allowing him to do so.

Either way, consider this a public pass on Dickey or Lombardi whichever is up for bid.
