iv had some lopsided victories before, but nothing like this. I dumped the first two games in the series 9-4, 4-0......then win 24-1?

sometime i wonder what Hal is smokin man :)

Well, also you were a beneficiary of the opposing manager's preferences, I would guess. You hit the starter hard and knocked him out early, so HAL put in the "mopup guy", Russ Springer, who I'm pretty sure is an R1 in that set. He gave up a few hits and runs early and goes to F0 (super tired) an then the pasting is on.

HAL very much respects that mopup role and Springer really took a beating. I always tell people to be really careful with that mopup role. Putting a R1 cheapie in there is not really a good idea if you have a team with a good offense that can come back. (Certainly didn't matter in this case, of course, because the other team only scored 1 run)
