7 Come 11 League

Postby GFDWARF07 » Thu Jul 01, 2010 6:49 pm

I would suggest 7-11 with no unique parks - use whatever park fits your team.

Bob- I haven't seen this used anywhere, I just made it up. We have four votes for it (with me) - that may be as close to a starting point as we might come here. Nothing against the other ideas. I have enjoyed the leagues where we have some sense of a '69 team identity and this accomplishes that X2.

I am out of town for the weekend now, but can start a sign-up Monday, if folks agree - or anyone else is welcome to - we can see if we get 12.

I am 100% in favor of 7-11, and I have no idea what it is. Sign me up.

Parks for 7-11 league. Wouldn't you just use one of your two team's parks?

Solid idea; Owner gets to choose either one of his/her two teams' home park. I like it.

Yes, one of your two teams parks sounds great. Will start a sign-up this week - or someone else can this weekend if you have time - please put my name on the list.

HAPPY 4TH!

This just hit me as a great idea for a theme league. The Trade league.
Here's how it would work:

First, select players and autodraft as usual. The one rule is: none of the players you got in the autodraft can be on your roster for opening day and the first 10 days of the season.

This means that all of the players on your team must have been acquired by trade or as free agents.
